Yes, there is still more to share about MSFW Spring 2012!
One of the free runway shows happening during the day was by Review. For those of you who aren’t familiar they are a retail chain. To be honest, I have only really been aware of them for about 3 or 4 of my 10 years here in Australia. They are great with young and fresh looks, perfect for girls in their 20s who are ready to move into more classic style but not look old-lady.
I don’t fit that category! but I do own a couple of pair of pants and a shirt or two from Review because I find that they are both well made and that they fit nicely. What you are about to see, is that they have the cutest Spring 2012 line of dresses!
You need to be warned…there are a lot of photos in this post.
See, what did I say? They are so cute and pretty. They nearly make me feel like a girl again!
Ahhhh, love is in the air. Because even at my age I love these dresses. So much so that I am convincing myself that the first of these three photos looks enough like Chanel that I could get away with wearing it.
And now for the finish!
You can see that the free afternoon shows drew pretty large crowds. The Review crowd was definitely younger than the Wittner crowd the day before. And it was really quite sweet to see a reasonable number of mothers who had brought their young daughters. You have to love the thought of mothers properly indoctrinating their daughters into the world of fashion!
That’s my review of the Review Runway for Spring 2012 at MSFW.
Hope you enjoyed it. See anything you just have to have?
