Honey Inspiration – Fashion vs Home

Today we will use honey as the inspiration for our Fashion vs Home feature.

Over the last couple of months once we have selected a colour or colour palette for our inspiration we have looked at it in fashion and then looked at the similarities in decorating our homes.

You’ll recall the colour Honey Inspiration colour palette.

Spring 2012 - Honey Inspired

Honey Coloured Inspiration

Honey Inspiration 2012: Gorgeous warm colours that we saw yesterday worked equally well for Spring or Autumn and could also go haute couture. Let’s see how well this palette works in the home.

Honey Inspiration – Fashion vs Home – Warm: It doesn’t matter if it is fashion or the home when using the warmer richer colours of this palette you can’t help feeling warm and chic at the same time.

Honey Inspiration – Fashion vs Home – Light: Light and tasty from this end of the palette. Even fresh and fun can describe both the fashion and the home style when using these honey shades. I think the lighter shades are great for those who don’t want to go too far from neutrals but do want to try a little colour. And if you already have a wardrobe or home full of neutrals these honey shades work nicely into the scheme.

Honey Inspiration – Fashion vs Home – Fabulous: Just to remind us that this colour palette can be fabulous when used both in fashion and in the home. It’s use adds luxury, richness and some tasty chic to both.

Was there a winner for you in the Honey Inspiration – Fashion vs Home face-off? Or do you think they come off about even? Do you prefer honey in your home decor, wardrobe or just in your tea?
