Spring Dressing – Playing in Paisley

More Spring dressing. This time it’s about the print and playing with paisley.

It’s still not warm, so layers are a must but I wanted to bring a little colour into my look with this paisley print top.

Playing with Paisley: I love the colours in this paisley print top and rather than wear it with black pants I thought I might do a little print clashing with my grey lace look skinny jeans. I’ve got a grey light-weight sweater underneath and have used the cobalt bag and accessories to further play up the blues in the shirt.

Oh, and yes, I am smiling. I’m trying to make a little more effort for you all. And I had my coffee first!

Casual and Comfortable: Some days you just want to be comfortable. This was one of those days. I like playing with the two prints, paisley and the printed pants. But what I like best is how reasonable the price was on this look. You may remember the gorgeous resin necklace by Rancho Designs that was a gift for my birthday and the handbag that was purchased from Sussan with money the parents sent for my birthday. Then both the paisley shirt and the grey long-sleeved shirt underneath were purchased while in the states last year. Both were on sale…at Walmart! I know I shouldn’t say that and I’ll probably loose any “fashion cred” I had, but I’m a real person who likes real bargains! The jeans are from Target and the flats were on sale for about $10 from Rivers.

I don’t think a little bargain shopping has ever hurt anyone. And certainly dressing comfortable yet stylish hasn’t!

What do you think of this look for spring dressing? Do you like to play with paisley?
